SKYCITY is an entertainment mecca in the heart of Auckland, complete with a world-class casino, 328m tall tower, restaurants, bars and luxury hotel accommodation. P3D first met with SKYCITY’s Digital & Online Channel Manager in early 2014 with the idea of creating a digital footprint of the facilities offered. At the time, P3D was a start-up business, so this was an exciting opportunity to work with one of New Zealand’s most iconic brands and landmark. SKYCITY was P3D’s most extensive tour to date with over 650 single 360 panoramas, shot across many levels. The project also included the famous SKYWALK. Our photographer was harnessed to the Sky Tower outer viewing deck which allowed us to capture the most amazing 360 views across central Auckland and neighbouring suburbs. To reflect the changes at SKYCITY, we recently revisited and updated the project.
